Creating and managing pre-order products

Pre-orders let buyers reserve and pay before an item is in stock. This is a plan and policy-gated feature.

Step by step

1. Edit a product and open the Pre-Order section.
2. Enable pre-order and set the availability and expected shipping dates.
3. Optionally cap the quantity and set a cut-off date.
4. Save — buyers now see pre-order details and consent at checkout.

Frequently asked questions

I can’t enable pre-order.
It may be blocked by your plan, a store restriction, or a temporary platform setting. The form explains why.

When do I get paid for pre-orders?
Pre-order payments follow the same split-payment flow as regular orders — the payment provider settles your share directly to your bank on its own schedule.
