How to become a vendor and open your store

From a LinkVault account to a store that can take money, in five steps.
For: VendorDifficulty: Easy⏱ 3 min
Selling starts with a normal LinkVault account. Then there are five things to do, in this order: create the store, complete verification, set up settlement, set your shipping, and list a product. Only the first two are compulsory before you can be reviewed — but nothing can be paid to you until settlement is set up.

Step by step
- Sign in with LinkVault, or create an account. The same account runs your store, your bio pages and your subscription.
- Create your store — name, description, city, country and logo. Your storefront exists from this moment.
- Complete verification (KYC) from Vendor → KYC: whether you are a business or an individual, your contact details, address, ownership and documents.
- Set up your settlement account under Vendor → Settlement Account — the bank account the payment provider pays your share into on every sale.
- Set your shipping under Vendor → Shipping, so buyers see a delivery cost at checkout.
- Add your first product, and your store is open.
Tips
- Most verifications are reviewed within a business day. You can keep building your catalogue while you wait.
- Your seller plan comes from your LinkVault subscription — there is no separate store plan to buy.
- Install the vendor app from your dashboard to run the store from your phone, including order notifications.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a fee to open a store?
Opening a store is free. A commission is deducted from each sale, and some advanced tools need a paid plan.
What is KYC?
Know-Your-Customer verification confirms your identity and your bank details, so money can be settled to you safely and lawfully.
Do I hold my customers’ money?
No, and neither do we. The payment provider splits each payment at the moment it is made and settles your share directly to your bank.
