Using backup codes and recovering 2FA

What to do if you lose access to your authenticator app.

Backup codes are one-time codes you saved when you turned on 2FA. Each works once.
Step by step
- On the 2FA prompt, choose Use a backup code instead of the app.
- Enter one unused backup code to sign in.
- Once in, open Profile → Security to regenerate codes or re-link a new device.
