Custom link endings

Choose the back half of the link instead of taking a generated one.

A custom ending turns a random code into something you can say out loud. Included from the Starter plan.

Step by step

  1. Create or edit a link.
  2. Type your ending in the custom code field — letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores.
  3. Save. If the ending is taken or reserved, you are told immediately.

Tips

  • Endings are between 3 and 40 characters, and always lowercase — nobody transcribes capitals correctly from print.
  • Some endings are reserved because they would be mistaken for LinkVault’s own pages.
