Email, phone call and text message QR codes

Step by step

1. On QR codes, tap Make a QR code, open the Communication tab and pick Phone call, Text message or Email.
2. Enter the number (with its country) or the email address. A text message and an email can carry a message — and an email a subject — already filled in.
3. Save and test it.

Tips

• When the code is scanned, LinkVault shows a short page that opens the phone’s dialler, messages app or email app straight away. Some browsers will not leave for another app without a tap, so the page also shows a large button for exactly that case: “If nothing happens, tap the button.”
• Nothing is sent or dialled without the person pressing send or call themselves.
