One-time and limited-scan QR codes

Step by step

1. Open the code and choose Edit.
2. Under Scan limit, set Each scan opens to One-time, or choose Stop after this many scans and enter the number.
3. Add a Message once the limit is reached — “This voucher has been claimed” — if you like.
4. Save.

Tips

• Link previews (a code pasted into WhatsApp) never use up a scan, and opening it twice in a row counts once — so a camera app that opens the link twice does not waste it.
• The person who claimed the last scan can still reopen it for a few seconds; everyone after sees your message, or your paused address if you set one.
• Scan limits are included on Premium and Enterprise.
